My name is Alexey Alexandrovich Malyaev. I am a plastic surgeon. I work at the Real Trans Hair clinic. I have been working for 17 years already. In general, it is interesting to go abroad and learn from foreign colleagues. As Vysotsky sang, "I helped my head with my hands", this is just the case. I love working with my hands, plus helping people is what matters too. I just like my job, I love operating and I see when the operation went well, how happy the person is, and this gives me moral satisfaction, first of all. The patient's feeling, that is what counts most, when everything goes well for them and
after the operation their life changes for the better. If not a surgeon, what would I be? I don't even know, I've never thought about this and I don't know, I don't even have an idea. I understood radio engineering very well at school. I think I would be some kind of engineer. Would solder boards, maybe, I don't really know.
I'd probably still work with my hands somehow. In my free time, I mostly relax at the summer house with my children. I have three children, two daughters and a son. The letter are 8 and 9 years old, so it is especially fun with them. When I am in another country for more than 10 days and I feel that I can't go to work. I somehow even get tired of vacation, although there are just 3 to 5 days left, I kind of already want to go to work. Apparently this profession is in your blood, when you become imbued with it, and you want to work and work again. In my opinion, the most important
quality for a medical doctor is decency, humanity, sensitivity, to feel the patient, so to speak, to somehow win the patient over so then they can trust you. If there is no trust, there will be no positive result. The success of the operation depends to some extent, well, I would even say to a greater extent, on the surgeon, maybe also to a great extent on the patient. Everything here is complex and of course is with God's help. There is a saying "God helps those who help themselves", and I think that it is very
appropriate in our business, because if you rely only on God, but don't do your job very well, then I think God will not help you in the end, it doesn't make sense. I have no prejudices, no superstitions, you know, I don't believe in any of it. And I operate both during the full moon and not, on the 13th, and on weekends, and on holidays and during major religious holidays. I don't really believe in this kind of thing, and in my opinion, if you are confident, then the operation will be done well.
